Overview
Mardi Himal Trek Trek is a beautiful trekking route in the Annapurna region of Nepal. It is a relatively new and less crowded trek, offering stunning views of snow-capped mountains, lush forests, and picturesque villages. The trek starts from Kande, near Pokhara, and passes through enchanting rhododendron forests, charming traditional villages, and terraced fields. As you ascend, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), and Mardi Himal.
The Mardi Himal Base Camp, situated at an altitude of 4,500 meters, is the highlight of this trek. From here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the entire Annapurna range and experience the serene beauty of the Himalayas.
The trek usually takes around 7-10 days, depending on your pace and itinerary. It is a moderate trek suitable for trekkers with a reasonable level of fitness. However, it is always recommended to be well-prepared, physically and mentally, before embarking on any trek in the Himalayas. Make sure to pack appropriate gear, including warm clothing, comfortable trekking shoes, a good backpack, and a sleeping bag. Hiring a professional guide and porter is also advisable to ensure a safe and enjoyable trekking experience.
Overall, the Mardi Himal Trek offers a unique and less explored route to witness the majestic beauty of the Annapurna region. It is a great option for nature lovers and adventure seekers looking for a quieter and off-the-beaten-path trekking experience in Nepal.
